Youth Business Fair – Businesses with Openings Wanted
Jeffco YouthWorks (a program of Jefferson County Workforce Center) is hosting the 2010 Young Adult Job Fair. The event is March 2nd from 1:30-5:30 and will be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. This is in partnership with the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt, 9News and the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. Last year the event was attended by over 1,800 young adults ages 14-21. This year, business participation has decreased and we know the attendance numbers of youth will be higher. This is a call for additional businesses to participate in the fair. There is no cost for businesses – they just need to have open positions for youth ages 14-21. These could be part-time, summer time or full-time positions. If you have any questions, you can contact Jaime Schrader at 303-271-4786. http://www.jeffcoyouthworks.org/PDF/JCWC_YouthWorks_2010JobFair.pdf
