Greetings to All …Our September 15th Alphabet Group event will be at First Bank, 5 to 7 pm! First Bank and Swiss Flowers will be the Co-Sponsors and door prizes will be Over the Top … did I hear someone say “free samples” from the bank?!? Canned Food Drive Please bring canned food to the Sept.and Oct meetings. Food banks get low on food before the holiday season of giving. We also need plastic grocery bags as well for the backpack program. Please leave canned food and bags at the check in table. Thank you!

Live Local Evening at MyPie Thur Sept 8, 6-9 p.m. Wheat Ridge 2020 is hosting the Sept 8 Live Local at MyPie at 3928 Wadsworth Boulevard. A portion of the evenings proceeds will go to WR2020. Come meet other Wheat Ridge folks, win prizes, and enjoy a great meal.

Wheat Ridge Farmers’ Market

Starts this Thursday, June 17! 4252 Wadsworth Boulevard (in front of Ross Dress for Less) 11 am – 3 pm starting this Thursday and runs through Oct. 28th. This week only, nationally know entertainers CoCo and Lafe, who touring at 100 Farmers Markets nation-wide, will be performing at the Wheat Ridge Farmers’ Market.

Wed. June 23 is Bike to Work day for the whole metro area. Wheat Ridge businesses are encouraged to participate so encourage your employees to bike to work that day!

Bike to Work Day represents a grassroots effort by cities, counties, transportation planners, community organizations and others across the state to educate commuters about the benefits of using two wheels to get to work.
