Welcome to the group Donna Shulte, Mile High Window Coverings, and Leonard Cordova of Bubba Chinos. Both are listed on the website so, time permitting, drop them a welcome email or stop in to say Hello! Our 3rd annual Passport to Wheat Ridge was, again, met with great success. One winner was in attendance … Jan Lindgren … who said she woke up that morning and was certain she would win. How’s that for the Power of Positive Thoughts! The other two winners work at the Wheat Ridge Active Adult Center: Cindy Peterson and Diane Rutherford. Many Thanks to those who donated items: Home Instead Health Care, Abrakadoodle, Boatright & Ripp, The Dragon Fly, Habitat for Humanity, Pietra’s Pizza, Wheat Ridge Cyclery, BareLaser, Cress Kitchen & Bath, L&L Coins, City of Wheat Ridge and Vincenza’s! I’m certain the recipients will enjoy their gifts and hope they take time to stop in and say Thank You. All the Best for an Abundant Week of Receiving! You Deserve It! Loretta

WELCOME 2012 …
The talk of the town are the Broncos, so we, too, must, include them. Spectacular plays, teamwork and knowing We Can, won the game on Sunday. The fact that they never gave up is an attitude to be admired and mirrored. With the advent of a new year … and setting goals for ourselves … this will serve us well as each of achieve and succeed this year. The spirit of the year is positive … many saying the recession is lessening, banks are more receptive to commercial loans and people are spending money. In my small world of real estate, inventory is down considerably from 2011, so those folks selling homes have the advantage … when did we last see this happen?!? I’m actually in a bidding war for one of my homes as this is being written. So … have clarity on what you want to Accomplish, Receive and Add to your life. Then, simply Know it will happen … of course, you will have to do some work here … and finally Enjoy the Reward!
In anticipation of Celebrating You and Your Achievements in 2012 … and Thankful you’re a member of Enterprise Wheat Ridge,
My Best, Loretta

A great group came, almost all from the appeal at the E WR luncheon. Our designated standing date is the first Thursday of each month. Passport to Wheat Ridge continues…urge your employees to participate. One organization is doing an in-house drawing for all who complete a passport. In addition to getting a chance at one of the three gift bags, this incentive is increasing participation at their own business. Get creative and get your own people excited about shopping Wheat Ridge.

Greetings on a rather brisk Tuesday morning … hope you’re bundled up and making the most of this Fantastic Day!
Our Holiday Luncheon is right around the corner … Tuesday, December 13th … and hope you’re one of the almost 100 folks registered to attend. Our guest speaker, Chris Tomer, Meteorologist – FOX 31, is an engaging, spirited and welcomed speaker. Chris is also involved in many outdoor sports and will welcome questions after his presentation. What is it you Really want to know about Chris and/or television? Come prepared to ask questions … he’ll be, most likely, apt to respond.
Passport to Wheat Ridge has been met with great enthusiasm this year. We have almost doubled the number of locations with boxes for completed passports. Take time to learn about the program via our website and then educate your customers … they’ll appreciate your effort. Shop Local has become a holiday slogan for many cities throughout the Denver area. We were on the cutting edge of this trend when the Denver Post ran an article a few years back and Wheat Ridge was one of the cities featured. We are also the only city I know that gives awards to the consumer via a drawing!
On the same subject of shopping local … when purchasing gifts go to our website at www.ewheatridge.com and see what businesses we have and what you might be able to purchase as a gift for someone on your list. Massage, facial, auto tune-up/oil change, kitchen remodeling, ski wear, bicycles and/or accessories. The list continues. Give it thought and then ask others … what’s in Wheat Ridge you could use and/or give to someone as a gift.
Have a Superb Week … Shop Wheat Ridge … and Enjoy!
Loretta
