 February is ending on a snowy note and it’s time to gear up for March. With each day we get closer to Spring!  It’s a good time to take stock of your marketing strategy and find what’s worked in the past and find how you can tweak that to re-energize your business, your marketing, and your way of getting your message out.

Excellent opportunity to hear Mayor Hancock speak is just around the corner. His topic will be Regionalism and will include how he has altered some view points since being appointed to his position as the Mayor of Denver. It is expected to be an exciting and insightful presentation. We’re anticipating a sizeable turnout and hope you take time to join us.

Your Board of Directors will be holding a planning session in the near future. One of the items on our agenda will be filling some vacancies on the board. This said, if you have interest in joining the board or would like to work on a committee, please contact myself or another board member. Due to our size, it is now critical that we organize a Membership Committee. We welcome all suggestions and hope many of you give serious consideration to how you can best support the organization.

During the next several months I will be taking an intensive coaching class taught by the owners of my company. Both are known for their exceptional performance. Our organization, along with others, will be hosting the annual City of Wheat Ridge Holiday Lighting which will take place on 38^th. Several businesses will be displaying their fineries on the Green at 38^th, many stores will be open for your shopping and eating pleasures and even Santa Claus will be joining the festivities. The festivities begin at 4:30 and the Holiday Lighting will take place at 6:30. Bring your family and friends for a joyous holiday celebration.

Reservations are streaming in for our December 11^th annual Holiday Luncheon … seems we’ll have another full house of members, guests and several others from in, and around, Jefferson County. Thanks to speaker coordinator, Kurt Renner, for his dedication to finding us wonderful, interesting speakers for our meetings. He is moving to a new position which will take him out of our fair City and we wish him only the best for he and his family and he embarks on this new adventure.
