Coping with challenges of the economic downturn – Jefferson Center for Mental Health offers free or low-cost resources for individuals and families trying to cope with the physical and emotional toll of the economic downturn. Dealing with job or home loss, threat of foreclosure, loss of retirement security and mounting debts can create feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, anxiety and depression. In response to a record demand for services, Jefferson Center for Mental Health is launching this new temporary program that will make available quick access to low-cost counseling to any member of our community.
